“I cannot imagine becoming a mom without this woman in my back pocket! Christine is the voice in my head when a parenting or mom-ing question comes up for me or when my anxiety starts to get the best of me. She makes me feel like I have actual magical powers, that I am the expert on my kids, and that I can do this gig! The breadth of her knowledge is vast and is grounded in evidence as well as her own experiences that she openly shares. Because of Christine, I actually understood my postpartum body and brain, my complex (and perfect) babies, and how we interact with each other and the world. Breastfeeding was a success for me in large part because of her support through the tougher parts. I frequently tell my family and friends about MY parenting and baby teacher, Christine, but in fact she is not just mine; she is everything to so many more!“

“Motherhood is beautiful. It’s life-changing. It’s something that changes you in a way you can truly never prepare for. You read books, you listen to podcasts, you follow parenting Instagram accounts…and then, if you are lucky enough to become a parent you realize nothing actually *really* prepares you. That’s okay. Many of these skills – changing a poopy diaper with one hand while also balancing a baby on your lap in a public restroom? That’s trial by fire, friend. As insanely beautiful and awe-inspiring as motherhood is, it is also…lonely. It’s confusing and isolating and you second-guess your formally confident self. Your body looks and feels different. You celebrate it and weep about how it can feel like it’s failing you. It’s HARD. Advice from seasoned parents can feel judgmental or outdated. Friends and family may parent differently and standing firm on those wobbly first-time parent legs isn’t easy. What if in those moments of self-doubt you felt a warm hug? A listening ear? Someone who asked about YOU and how you are feeling? Someone who said that you are the best parent for YOUR child and said so in a way you felt it. Who celebrated with you when you had your first successful solo parent/baby outing? Or helped you through those never-ending nursing challenges? Christine was my life raft in a season of life where my boat was taking on water. I am a different parent, heck – a different friend, daughter, partner because of her. I am forever thankful for her humor, encouragement and knowledge.“

“Christine welcomed me with open arms, no judgement, and laughter for a very tired first-time mom. She was always supportive, caring, and gave both the guidelines and her honest and open experiences from her own life lessons. Her knowledge, kind soul, and transparency was so valuable to me and became my lifeline to “get through” the early days and really enjoy motherhood…Thank you, Christine for being an amazing educator and just the kindest human being for all mothers.”

“Christine is a phenomenal person and a phenomenal resource for parents everywhere. With warmth and authentic compassion for the parents in her care, she lifts them up, teaches them to listen to their hearts, and encourages them to care for themselves in meaningful ways. Christine blends a masterful grasp of the science and facts of baby- and child-rearing, with love and good humor in a way that makes every parent who crosses her path feel seen, heard, and understood. She is an invaluable resource to new parents (and experienced ones) and I am so grateful for her wisdom and presence in my life when I was at my most vulnerable.”

“As a new mom, I was struggling with postpartum anxiety, insomnia, and hypervigilance. I would walk into Christine’s class every week with tears in my eyes feeling sleep deprived, hopeless, and alone and I would leave with a deep sense of hope, belonging, and a deeper understanding of what was going on with me and my baby. Christine not only provided a supportive environment where new parents could voice their concerns and struggles, but she is also a wealth of knowledge and enlightened us on the latest research while simultaneously entertaining us with her humor and storytelling skills. She is one of a kind and I am eternally grateful for meeting this beautiful soul when I did.”

“I simply cannot say enough good things about Christine. Not only does this woman seriously know her stuff when it comes to child development, but she has a way of making mothers feel not only heard, but validated, loved, and understood all at a time in our lives when we are the most vulnerable. A traumatic birth and postpartum depression turned what was supposed to be the happiest time in my life, to one of the darkest. Christine was the light that helped to lead me out. The kindness and caring she brings is infectious and the result is a truly safe place for mothers/parents to go with their highs, their lows, and everything in between. Thank you, Christine.”
